As my travel usually entails travelling in Y class, I always have with me my Sennheiser PXC 300 noise cancelling headsets.

However next week I'm travelling J class on Singapore Airlines and I was wondering if I should leave them at home this time and rely on the noise-cancelling headsets that SIA supply in J class.

SQ's headsets do the job for me. I'll wear em to sleep even if not listening to IFE.

Thanks, didn't want to take them unless it was absolutely necessary. Presumably the ones that SQ provide are the same on the new 777-300ER as they are on J in their 747-400s and other 777 models?

Yup headsets are the same in all business class (except IIRC 77W has newer better headset?)

ok, I'll check that out and confirm back after I've done the flight.
