Should I expect my tickets to get cancelled?

I've had 3 J reward seats booked with Qatar from Venice to Singapore for 7+ months. With the issues Qatar is having, I recently booked Y seats with Emarates within a few hours of the original itinerary. Both bookings appear in my Qantas account correctly. I will cancel the Y booking closer to travel if the region does not deteriorate.

Given I have 2 tickets departing the same airport at almost the same time, will this cause any issues or will either ticket get cancelled prior to me cancelling one of them?

No you won't have any issues if they are both ticketed.

No, because neither QR nor EK can see the other booking. And QF couldn't care less.

Only if you have multiple bookings on the same QF flight.

Thanks JohnK. There was something niggling in the back of my mind when I asked the question. That would have been it!
