SFO and Fog

After being in SFO for a week and seeing the insane density of the fog that comes in from the bay, what is the likelihood of flights being affected out of SFO? I have an 2330 SFO-ORD tonight that according to the San Francisco airport website is still "ontime"

However, the fog hasnt built yet.

Wondering if anyone has experience flying out of SFO in fog and likelihood of cancellations

I have flown into & out of SFO about, gee, maybe 250 times, and I have yet to suffer a fog-related delay. Really.

Don't worry too much. There are worse places to have to spend an extra night. Baghdad, Grozny, Los Angeles...
