None of the "F's" in AFF is for Films and so I can't follow either. The part we are not following is that is a forum about "flying"...and so why have you randomly come on to post on subscription movie services???

I heard the content may not be anywhere near what the US et el have (though there's an easy fix around that). I am referring to Netflix in this instance.

Not having watched ACA, I have a feeling it's about the online streaming market. Yes the OP is a bit vague but I believe there has been a lot of pressure for these services to offer better services down under for the prices they charge.

We reduced our package so I can't answer, but I have a feeling that existing members had their content increased for the price that they are paying.

If you're an existing subscriber, then you need to contact them and ask to get the reduced pricing. First check if there are any conditions, like a new 12 month contract.

I was referring to the IFE offerings. However I do have a method for putting super rugby games onto my personal device.

I subscribe to US Netflix with Getflix. It has been great so far watching a lot of great TV shows anytime I want. Until Stan/Presto/AU Netflix has what US Netflix has I think I still stay with US Netflix for a while.

I have the same setup as you and wont be switching until I can see the content offered.

SWMBO used to get annoyed when picking a movie to watch on foxtel and I'd say "seen it" on a plane. I just pretend I haven't seen them now.

Signed up for and downloaded Stan - free for 30days then $10/mth.
Works brilliantly on my Android tablet and $40 chromecast plugged into back of tv.

Also got a few other mates who were paying $2.99/ep of Breaking Bad to do the same.

Decent selection of TV serials including a number that have never aired in Australia (eg. Lost Girl)
Better Call Saul starts next week.

Also has a number of free movies - including the entire Bond collection,
As well as a reasonable collection of kids programs.

Overall - looks pretty good value/ albeit am going to need to upgrade my Internet plan :-(

Got rid of the Fox box long ago, could not take funeral, and car insurance adverts any longer, had Netflix a long time, no ads, programs always there no need to record, cost is USD$12 month. We mainly watch doco's, House of Cards series was brilliant on Netflix, watch no sport other than F1 and tennis both available both on FTA. Lost count of how many we know who followed us to Netflix.
