Secret Jetstar 2 for 1 sales over June

Hi all,
Saw a sign in Angus and Roberston bookstore about purchasing two Lonely Planet guides, going online, entering transaction number and getting access to a weekly Jetstar 2 for 1 sale offer. (Changes every Thursday)

Tried a few transaction number combo's and came up with the following

P.S I personally believe that Jetstar is still in breach of the current ACCC rulings on component pricing and has all the extras for credit cards down the bottom in fine print.

The sale isn't hidden that well. You can go to the Jetstar homepage and type in "lonely" in the top right hand corner search box and it comes up. Enjoy!

It appears they've fixed the flaw that allowed you to book just for 1 person, instead of 2, the last time they offered a 2-for-1 sale. Still not bad.

SYD-AKL-SYD for 2 (without baggage) came out to be $270.xx total.

Not a bad deal for a weekend away.

I was considering BNE - NTL, but the airport isn't exactly accessible from town and there's no QP there. All I'd want to do is a day trip too.

New fares on sale this morning

DRW - SGN (THIS DIRECTION ONLY) 4 AUG -10 SEP $239 for 2 Jetsaver Light

Just back from a week in SGN and keen to go again. The return fare is actually cheaper than the special for instance on 5 or 6 Sep SGN - DRW $79.13 per passenger. So a one week stay, DRW-SGN-DRW for two people is $397.26!!! Less than $200 per person return ex-Darwin.

Next time I'd consider checked bags for the bring home shopping!

But when you try to book the cheap fare, it often comes up both ways; sometimes the leg not quoted is actualy cheaper (due to differences in taxes).
