For an upcoming flight BNE-DPS I had originally selected a seat 3F about a week ago. Now when I look at the booking online I have been moved to 4A. All of row 3 is occupied. Although I haven't flown Virgin all that much, maybe 10 times in the last 12 months, this is the first time I have been moved back.

Although seat selections are not guaranteed, it is a bit annoying. But no big hassle. Does this happen very often with Virgin?

Also interesting the on line seat map is showing rows 1 and 2 all occupied. Yet there are still 6 business class seats available for purchase, so only two should be seats should occupied. Is that just a quirk of Virgins seat selection in that seats that are not available show as occupied?

If a seat is blocked it'll show as occupied.

Business seats are not available to you so they'll appear as occupied.
