SCs on JQ Single Flight #

Hi troops,

Thinking of flying Starclass to/from DPS.

Coming home, JQ36 runs DPS-MEL-SYD

Will I receive SCs for both legs, or is this filed as a single flight (DPS-SYD)?

If booked as DPS-SYD then SC's and point earn is as for DPS-SYD on the direct global circle distance.

Use Great Circle Mapper to work out the distance and use the QFF Airline Earning Table to work out the SC's earned for StarClass.

I just did a quick dummy booking and there seems to be some options offered that involve a Qantas operated codeshare flight MEL-SYD, with a note to say that you sit in business for starclass. Selecting one of those flights might be a way to earn extra points, due to the separate flight numbers and also travelling in business cabin. About $250 to $300 more expensive through
