So.....hubby and family were booked Mel-Syd- Gold Coast on Tuesday, when Mel - Syd leg was cancelled.

apparently Sydney airport was a nightmare, so they were offered Mel - Gold Coast direct with Jetstar.

my question is....what happens to the SC's that they should have got for the initial flight in qantas?

TQ

Original routing credit, aka ORC is your friend. Just send an email to Qantas with the details asking for ORC and all will be well.

And just to clarify, email frequent_flyer [at] qantas.com.au

Say what happened in a sentence or two and attach the e-ticket receipt and if possible a photo of the jetstar boarding pass

I did one for a partner airline earlier this week on a more complicated situation and it was all fixed within 24 hours
