We are flying Scootbiz Perth to Singapore for a quick 5 day Xmas lights visit on 24 Dec. As we don't have much experience using LCC, what should I expect. We are normally QFF flyers so were interested in anyone else's experiences with Scoot.

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

A decent seat. That's about it.

Meals are the same as Scoot Economy (just included) and I think you only get one comp drink.

Listen out for the call bells chime due to the silly positioning on the seat.

i quite like the scootbiz seats they have quite deep recline and a decent leg rest, a step above a domestic business class seat - more like asian regional business class seats.

meals are a joke and probably best to have a back-up plan

wi-fi is available and i think is free for scootbiz (i didnt use in my last sector as i went straight to sleep).

didnt notice any random call bells on the 789 i think that may have been a problem only on the original 777s

One tip for Scoot ex-SIN, join the crowds filling up empty water bottles at the drink fountain at the gates immediately prior to boarding (after security). As only one drink is included good to have your own water bottle to rehydrate.

Thanks moa999 for the review. We're starting to feel a little better about the flight now. Some great tips - thanks everyone!

I have a combined inflight shopping/menu guide from scoot... in the shopping section in tiny print it states 'drinking water is available free of charge'. This does not appear on any of the menu pages (no surprise I guess!). Unless they've recently changed policy it seems you can get tap water for free on board. Although I suspect it will be a small glass and BYO a good option.
