Row 5 to LAX, is it really that special?

Yep. We go to Cabazon for the Boxing Day sales every year. We are staying in Palm Springs to avoid the 2 hour drive each way from Beverly Hills. The Mrs likes the Gucci, I go for the Hugo Boss. We save thousands. Thankfully VA let us take lot's of luggage home. Last time was 95kg total with 6 bags checked in + 2 carry on each and no charges applied.

I know, you have to love the Platinum and J luggage allowance, its great (I have a laugh everytime a luggage store owner tries to dissuade me from a bag because it's too heavy only for me to explain that weight is never an issue).

The wife and I have also had 5 J/K from BNE-LAX and noise was never an issue
