My wife & I are on QF1 27 Feb SYD-LHR-GVA 31 March on QF2 GVA-LHR-SYD all via SIN all in Y as a QC NB I think we have lounge access at all those places We have been doing this trip out last Wed/Thu in Feb and home last Sun in March for 22 Years (not all on Qantas)
Looked up Check My Trip tonight and found the trip home is via Dubai (no word from Qantas yet) What I would like to know is how I stand on the way home for
1 Access to lounge GVA- LHR since the official day for change over is 1 April but I think the rule is travel via SIN-HKG or BKK
2 Access at Dubai
3 We hope to do this trip in again 2014 If we fly SYD-DXB-GVA will we get access at DXB & GVA
4 If we fly QF SYD-SIN or HKG then BA LHR-GVA will we get access at any of these places
5 If QF SYD-LHR then BA to GVA what then ? Will Qantas & BA have dissolved all there lounge agreements by then
Hope to find a few yes replies here as my QC membership ( that I quiet enjoy) will depend on the answers As regular flyers more than frequent flyers I think the benefits outweigh the cost
John

Hey John,

The Lounge access policy, along with other benefits will be communicated over the coming weeks.
If you booked through qantas.com and had an email in your booking you should have received notification of the change in your return flight, otherwise your travel agent should contact you.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Welcome back Red Roo,

Have not seen you on the forum for awhile

Perhaps you've had no notification because you're still on QF1/2 between SYD and LHR. Maybe the system doesn't recognise the change of transit port.

Good luck getting any real clarity from Red Roo or QF on access to BA lounges with QC membership. That question has never really been resolved and the cost of QC membership has not been adjusted with the loss of access to BA lounges. There are several thread on this already.

In fairness the issue and current and I do repeat that current access policy has been communicated and is very clear. Sure it is not to the liking of QC members, but to say it is unresolved is not correct.

Wasn't it resolved, even if it was not to the satisfaction of those wanting BA access for all BA flights?
