Rolling delays at MEL this morning.

Waiting for a QF flight this morning, delayed at least 30 mins due to a problem with air traffic control. Thought others might need to know.

I imagine it's affecting all flights, not just QF.

My flight QF675 was on time this morning.
Maybe the delays started after 8am.

Announcements being made in the lounge to expect upto 30 minutes or more delays. Apparently, ATC had technical issues and needed to reboot some systems earlier in the day.

I should still make my connection in Sydney if the delay is only 30 mins or so.

Sat on the ground for an hour at the gate on VA. Departure supposed to be 9am, ended up departing at 10. Nothing the company could do, when they requested pushback they were told to call back in 45 minutes apparently...
