Hey guys,

Has anyone used the Revolut metal (debit card) for travel insurance before? Any feedback/response/claim success/declines?

Tossing up between booking flights moving forward with my CBA Covermore or trying out the Revolut if it seems to do the job more or less.

Used to read all the TnCs and the fine print for all the CCs but things change constantly nowadays sometimes without even knowing about it..

Thanks!

I did have a brief read: must be a resident of UK and trip must begin and end in UK.. looks like this post doesn't matter for me then!

The claims experience is quite good for revolut, the main thing to check are level of coverage - the inclusions of both of these, and things like excess, etc. I would just compare based on the coverage, and see which is better for you.

Do you have be to a UK resident to proceed with the claim?

No, the benefits apply as stated in the app - they have different insurance partners in different regions though, so the experience may vary by region. That's why it's best to read the inclusions as they apply to you.
