Just tried to book an overseas flight (VA coded, VA and SQ operated) through the VA website (BNE-PER-SIN-HAN rtn) next year. Last week the flights I wanted were available and able to be booked and after confirming dates I thought it was time to book. Now, typing in the same return details, "no flights available". I also tried SIN and HKG as destinations with the same result.

Call the VA plat phone, one ways fares over are showing but the same problem happens when they try for a return fare. In their words "we can get you over but can't get you back". Me: "Mmm...that could be a problem. Why when you request a return fare does the website show nothing available?" Plat: "Don't know. Suggest you book with SQ."

So VFF if you are watching, is this a website glitch which will be fixed in the next day or so in which case I will try again, or is it something more permanent which won't allow anyone to book return fares to Asia.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Its not just you - looks like all SQ related flights have vanished from the VA booking engine - see screen shots below - I noticed AUH is still coming up so looks like its "just" limited to SQ flights - all EY and VA flights still appear to be there, its "just" the SQ codeshare stuff - and hence most of Asia that has gone "missing" from the VA web site.

I wonder how long it will take before someone in VA starts to wonder whats happening to their Asia bookings......

Thanks for the extra research. Yes I wonder how long before an answer or solution is provided. As I said the Plat call centre is aware of the issue but didn't seem all that interested.

I wonder if this is the result of VA attempting to add in SQ flights to their redemption engine.

Yeah nothing with VA codeshare on SQ at all . I was looking up SYD-xSIN-NRT earlier today and it just returns "No Flights Found"

Indeed - now that you mention it - it does seems like a bit of a coincidence..............

Maybe if we all pitch in we could buy a sand box for the VA Website team for Christmas.......

Still not working for me either - I called up the velocity line and they were able to book flights for me.

Hi all, my colleagues from VA's internet booking engine and alliances teams are already on to this. Unfortunately I am unable to provide a timeframe in which this error will be rectified. I will post an update if/when I hear anything. Apologies for the inconvenience.
