Back when I first started flying with Virgin, I wasn't aware of our company's reservation system allowing you to enter your Velocity number. This resulted in much pain to get my flights credited to my Velocity account. After numerous attempts to claim online, I called the help desk numerous times where they simply submitted the claim again, without resolution. It's like smashing your head against a brick wall trying to explain that, hey, I've called you 3 times already, c'mon!
Cue present situation. Booked international flight from BNE->MEL->AUH->LHR->AUH->SYD->BNE, domestic connections via DJ, international via EY. The reservation on the membership portal shows the domestic flights only, but that's fine as my international sectors have already been credited. However, my domestic business class sectors still have not been credited. The entire journey was booked with my Velocity number, so that's not the excuse this time - as the domestic reservation actually shows up against my account. Have called the help desk, submitted a complaint and numerous online claims, and still nothing.
When the system works, great, but ffs, when something doesn't work, they really know how to eff you around.
