Retention Points/Fee Waiving for AMEX Elevate

Hi

Just being hit by annual fee.
Anyone who hold this card managed to asked for a fee waiver or retention points (Qantas Point).
I was on chat via the AMEX app, kept being told it is against the law. Sigh!

Hi @wsthong, I have Amex Elevate and the annual fee is $49.
I am not sure I understand your question re points though.

I do have ANZ platinum visa card that I use mostly for OS travel and haven't used it much in the past few years.
I have successfully sought fee waiver twice on the basis I am a long standing customer and use it primarily for travel.

You may need to speak to someone in the Retention Department, often depends on who you get - good luck!
