For Gold and Plat members, has anyone been able to secure Space + seats on NZ 320s trans-tasman?

This may have been covered before with bookings made via NZ on NZ flight number, but I think the situation is different when the booking is made on DJ with DJ flight number.

Pls share your experiences

thanks.

Booking via NZ on an NZ flight number - easily, I've been able to select a Row 3 seat at the time of booking.

Booking on a DJ codeshare on an NZ flight, DJ's website says seat selection is available "
On Virgin Australia operated flights numbered between DJ50–DJ2999, and DJ4000–DJ4999"

. The codeshares are in the DJ8xx_ block, so I wouldn't expect it to be possible. However, I've never done it. For what's worth, booking a DJ operated flight on the NZ website does generate a warning that seat selection is unavailable.
