Requesting some help for a newbie

Hi all,
Just wondering if somebody can give me some info. I've booked tickets to japan for next January and flying with Cathay Pacific. If I become a Qantas Club member will I get access to the lounge here before leaving? Also would i then get access to the Cathay Pacific lounge in Hong Kong if I was a Qantas Club Member?

Unfortunately not. You would need to be flying on a QANTAS flight to use the lounge at Australian departure and there is no access to lounges in Hong Kong flying with Cathay as a QANTAS club member.

Assuming they are open, the Amex lounges in both ports are good if you can justify getting a Charge

Consider a Priority Pass membership. It is cheaper than Qantas Club.
