Hi All, Did a bit of a search, but only seemed to find info on tailors for suits etc. Will be in SIN in early October and my partner is keen to get a dress made up for a wedding we are attending in November.
Anybody with some first hand knowledge of a good quality and fairly priced dressmaker?

All help appreciated, thanks ladies and gentlemen.

Serious, don't even consider using anyone but Happy Harry - Happy Harry's Tailor - About Us

He flies in and out of SYD, BNE and MEL every 2 - 3 months and takes orders in his hotel room - fialing that you can go and see him in his shop in singapore.

Some of his clients? Premiers, Ministers, Dept PM's, Lord Mayors, CEO's, high ranking Public Servants.

I've been trying to get him to come to Darwin for sometime, but there isn't enough business here...

Bespoke shirt, about $80, bespoke suit, about $500 - beautiful quality and will last and last.

I (being a man) haven't had womens clothes made, but he does them and from my understanding does an amazing job.

Comes highly recommended.

I'm off to Singapore next week myself, and also keen to see if I can sneak in a small wardrobe refit whilst I'm over there.

Simsy, can I ask what you've actually had made up before? And how long you've had them for? You sound pretty happy from your post above, but interested to hear if you've got anything else to share.

Also, price-wise, are they numbers you've haggled down to, or is most of their tailoring pretty stock standard in price? I'll be heading over as a newbie (unfortunately), and just trying to get my head around as much as I can to see if its worth giving a crack!

Cheers
