Removal of Plat and Gold QFF benefit

Has anyone noticed but this week qantas seems to have deleted part of its Terms and Conditions for QFF which said:

"Qantas may make additional classic award seats available to Platinum and Gold Frequent Flyers."

This used to be a good way for a platinum to ring up and get an international business class award seat. Qantas only release 2 business award seats per flight 330 days out and these are often snapped up within minutes of being released.

Do others agree with what I think I have noticed in the term/condition changes?

Seems to be there for me:

20.6.1 Qantas may at its discretion make available to Platinum and Gold Members additional allocations of Classic Award seats.

Well they have updated the T&C's ... wonder what they changed!

Often these things are minor word changes, or changes in the earnings table, and these are often things like an additional class here and there, an airline changing names (e.g. National Jet to Cobham), and stuff like that. Specifically what was changed this time, I am not sure.

Hi everyone - long time stalker, fan of 737, and finally able to contribute something useful (as had nothing better to do ...), so here goes nothing.

The changes involved the removal of references to the voice recognition feature of QF phone bookings (previous T & Cs A (dated 27 January 2010), new ones B (dated 17 February 2010)):

A. -> B. the following definition was removed:

'Qantas Voice' is Qantas' telephone speech recognition system that is available to callers within Australia;

A. -> B. the following clauses were altered:

13.2.3 Subject to clause 14.2.1, all Award Flight bookings made or completed by telephone or in person will incur an Assisted Award Booking Fee, per passenger occupying a seat (see the Fee Schedule).
