Refunds and negative points balance ?

Curiosity question, have held on to the ANZ black for the past 9 months because I like it, but it extends my exclusion period

long story short, I made big purchase 6 weeks ago, unfortunately, a lot of problems with it so a refund has been issued today
so I assume that my points balance will become negative because I dont use the card too much,
at the end of the month for the direct sweep, will the balance simply be negative, or will they claw it out of my qantas account?

*** I earn 1ppd up to $7500, 1/2 ppd there after, how is the subtraction of points calculated? eg whatever it was earned at, or will it come off at 1/2ppd?
