Refund of extra leg room after a points upgrade to business

I have paid for extra leg room seats on a domestic flight … row 4. If I have a successful business points upgrade, will I get a refund for the extra leg room seats?

No refund as such a scenario is considered a voluntary change

True sadly
Have lost out twice this year when I got a late upgrade on the 738 PER-BNE.
Given the sardine can conditions further back (on a flight that that is only 2 hours short of transatlantic) I write it off as a form of travel insurance

Conversely you will be refunded for a Neighbour Free Seat if you are upgraded.
