Redemption for Australian Domestic Flights

I can't seem to find options to redeem Skywards miles for domestic flights on the Skywards website - am I missing something?

Me too. I have 13,425 points which is not likely to increase now with the joint activities and my QF gold. Presumably there's an 8,000 point flight there somewhere I can purchase.

I've still had no luck. There's a link to redeem on Qantas, but then most Australia cities don't appear in the origin/destination fields.

you can book QF domestic flights with your skywards points. check availability on the QFF site, then call skywards on the phone. their systems aren't setup yet for you to do it online, so there is no extra charge for booking over the phone.

I did this last year MEL-BNE-TSV return. I had to do it over the telephone with EK.

***Unless you have a very sound reason for doing this, which I thought I did at the time (job security) but in the end didn't, this is not good use of EK points.***

Better to use them for international tickets or upgrades from economy. I had to pay $300+ for the two redemption tickets in taxes and charges. I would have got more 'bang for my buck' purchasing a QF or JQ ticket. A lesson learned.
