A member recently mentioned that he had apartments in New York,Paris and Jackson Hole and that he had achieved real concierge service in those locations.
He said his New York place was connected to a hotel.
As I head towards retirement I have been considering acquiring apartments in New York,Paris and London but Mrs T is concerned that she will get the job of jumping on a plane to handle a problem.
Are there real concierge service companies in major cities who can ensure the places are immaculate and stocked ready for an arrival and can handle pretty much everything like a hotel room but in an owned apartment?
We have Melbourne and Sydney running like this but we have no connections to help internationally.
Any thoughts?

I meant Los Angeles but typed Paris.I need to retire.
So it is New York,Los Angeles and London.

Can only comment on NYC.My son lived there for 6 years and owned an apartment, his inlaws still own one there,I just have a time share.Any decent apartment block has a dedicated concierge service and yes they can arrange for things to be ready on arrival.Exactly how much they do depends on the building and the results of that quaint American custom-tipping.Each Christmas every worker in the building is to be tipped in cash-means you can go through quite a bit of the readies.Obviously if you are thought a little stingy less will be done.
Again as a foreigner with most NYC apartment buildings you will have to be approved by The Co op board which can be time consuming. There are a growing number of Condominiums now where the process is easier but price higher.A good resource on buying-

Read about a service called "Quintessentially" recently which is basically a 24/7, global-reaching concierge service, which can be one-on-one for the right price. Might be worth looking at.

Cheers,
