Re QF20/19 seating

Hi,

Just like to ask for opinions on seat 5A on Qf 20/19 Mnl-Syd-Mnl.

Seat Expert is showing that its a good seat but Seat Guru is stating that its a seat without a window! Anyone can tell me who is right?

Haven't taken this flight for years so would appreciate some feedback.

Generally these are operated by international 763 with Dreamtime seats. The "A" seat normally have access to "2½" windows.

That seatmap indicates no missing window.

IMHO, the seat is fine - you have an overnight flight, so why worry.

Unfortunately, the "Seatguru" website is riddled with errors which they seem very reluctant to fix even when they are notified. If you look at this same seatmap, you will notice that it says J seat pitch is 37" (wrong, it is 50") and that there is AC power in J seats (also wrong). (And yes, seat 5A definitely has a window).

I assume you are going before Nov1 when the route changes to a mix of A330.

5A is the last seat on the right - you very much will have your 2½ windows, just like every other A/K seat in rows 1-5 ...

Then just consider it an aisle seat The A seats in that config are both aisle and window seats, and as already mentioned all have windows.

Thanks all. I have kept my 5A and SWMBO will keep her 4A!

And yes, travel is in 36 hrs time. 767 vs A330?? :shock:
Think I will stick back to the "via HKG" route after this!
