While not wanting to sound like an alcoholic what is the mini bar for the IC Perth like

The mini bar is not bad, around 6 beers, mixers and two of each of the more common spirits. The club is very below par (drink choices do not include spirits ) however you can take the club breakfast in the main restaurant which is the real benefit of the club upgrade to me.

Dave, you might want to check out the IC again, the renovations have seen big changes when it comes to the noise, I did not notice anything a few weeks ago on a Thursday night and my room entered from the Atrium rather than down the corridor. David the guest relations manager is very good at addressing the odd issue if you do have one, I have had a mix of expereinces at this hotel but lately they have been good.

Hmm.. My experience of the main restaurant beakfast the time I went there was v poor and would have complained and refused to pay if it wasn't a freebie

Have they fixed the AC system to be able to switch off the motor noise from the AC when switched off which was my other problem with the hotel

I think that you can interpret it to mean that I unchecked in and left the hotel within about 30 minutes of getting to the room

I had the AC on all the time so did not notice, the rooms are being renovated at present so that may fix the issue, the prototype room I stayed in had no fan noise, but I am pretty sure it had no AC either!
