Quickest, cheapest or easiest please!

Need them to enter the Virgin comp they are currently running where you can win some business class flights.

Very new to FlyBuys so not sure how hard 2,000 points is to earn.

:D

Quickest is to head down to Coles and spend $2,000. Cheapest you'd need to look at bonus offers...

Thanks mate.

Thought they may have some sort of "wine" deal where you get 2,000 points for buying a case of mixed reds or something.

Check your flybuys account, there is usually bonus offers on it to activate.

I got one the other day, spend $40 get 1000 in points. The offers all depend on your spending habits

Check your FB account for offers. I got two last week... one gave me 1000 bonus points for a $50 shop at Coles and another 1000 points for a $40 at Liquorland. Takes a couple of days to hit your account, but all points do.
Also, check the bottom of your receipt when shopping at Coles, sometimes you get great bonus offers there as well.

I just signed up for Flybuys and my card came with a paper coupon. Spend $50 at Coles and scan this coupon (like an item) and receive 2000 flybuys points.

I feel like the coupon could be reused again and again by different members (because it states one per household and 'destroy coupon after use'). But I'm not quite ready to post it until I use it! Maybe you can find one online.

If we transfer SPG points, will this register for the competition? Is there a way this could be done to register?

Destroy after use is for the Coles checkout person to do.
All those paper things that come with the Flybuys card, or in with the statement, you have to hand the chit over to the girl/guy, on the bottom of your Flybuys statement, you will see a 1cent add on and a 1cent take off, and you don't get that chit back.
The chit has a bar code on it, and the girl/guy has to scan that bar code.
She/he most of the time tears the chit up, or does not give it back to you after scanning.
Ie, one use and thats it for the chit.
The last one, I got was spend $80 4 times over a 4 week period to get 5000 Flybuys points.
I think the current one is spend $110 3 times over 3 weeks to get 3000 Flybuys points.
Probably its a targetted offer.
But you could ring them up and see what they say, they might email you the spend $110 3 times one to your Flybuys account.
They (Coles) seem desperate to keep me from straying onot Woolworths.
Since 1998, I must have got at least 100,000 Flybuys points earnt and spent.
I find too, that AGL does pump quite a lot of Flybuy points my way.
Edit: spend $110 over 4 weeks to get 10,000 Flybuys points, thats in my Flybuys points on offer, but I don't spend that much these days, since my relos went back overseas.
The offer ends today, but they might have another one out soon.

I used it at a self service kiosk, so I still have it. Can't remember the last time I had a real person at checkout.

They are all targeted... we had the same as you, $110 spend for 4 weeks for 10,000 bonus points. Just too much spend for two people per week. There is only so much toilet paper we can store :D Ended up "resting" the card for a few months, then spend was down to $60 for 4 weeks for same points. Now my husband and I have separate accounts. We use mine for a while and when spend gets too high, we move over to his and rest my card. In between we do Woolies as well, but no too much to up spending for bonus points (think last one was $40 for 4 weeks for 8000 points).

2000 points is fairly easy to get if you just look for the bonus offers. This week I had 500 bonus points for one loaf of Helgas bread, 1000 bonus for a bottle at Liquorland (takes longer to hit your account though), 1000 bonus for spending $50 in one transaction (ticket found in flyer) and not to mention all the bonus tickets you get at the end of your shop a docket.

Sepatate Flybuys are best tip if you want to Family Pool under Velocity.
Same household address all the way needed of course.
Does not help the OP in this instance but helps amass FB points and VA SC in the end.

Next week's catalogue has 2000 points for certain vouchers- $30 Netflix & cotton on and $50 best restaurant & spa vouchers. Will need to investigate the restaurants available, the add says there are 750 participating!

edit- next week means from this Wed i think

Here's a ProTip ... don't spend too much for the first few weeks after joining!

(I'm never offered such lowball spend offers ... the system seems to use a calculation like "Min_spend_for_offer = 1.5 * max_spend_to_date" ... so I'm always getting "Get 1500 points for spending more than is possible" or the repeatedly-offered "Get five or ten thousand points for spending an absurd amount four weeks in a row.")
