Hi folks

I've made a business class booking using points plus $$. Does this mean I am guaranteed seats 1 or 2? It's on DJ 845 and I couldn't find the site people use here to check each aircraft's configuration.

Also I saw some other posts about a business class booking getting row 15.

I'm VA Gold if that helps.

thank you :p

G'day Silvershadow. Your booking is a confirmed J booking, row 1 ro 2, the only way anything else can happen is if there is a major disruption to the network and then they would offer you a Y seat with refund of your points and $$, or at least partial refund in the case of weather related disasters.
The issues you refer to about ending up in row 15 is where people book a flight from say DRW to CBR via syd. As the SYD - CBR leg is on at ATR with no J class then they fairly much give you any Y seat. Though normal practice is to try and give you seats in the preferred suit zone (eg Blue zone) or closest to the door to get off first.
You can see what type of a/c it "should" be on the booking engine by clicking on the flight number. Most MEL - SYD flt's are 737-800, with some E190. But a/c sub's can happen right up until departure.
Hope this helps.
