QFF website unable to calculate charge

I've had a number of recent attempts to select QF FF flights around Christmas, and after selecting the (QF) flights and clicking Review I get a message that charge can't be calculated.
Is this a recent glitch, or is there a trick to avoiding this?

From the info you have given there seems to be no specific issues that I can see. I tried a few random flights anf they all worked.

Could you be more specific and/or do you have enough points for the selected flights :?:

Sometimes earned points don't calculate for me and I find just going back a step (not with the back button, but by choosing to change flights), and then re-selecting the flights generally works. Same issue? Maybe related.

an example is:
SYD-BKK 21 DEC 09 31 DEC 09, select the 2 business class seats, points display 120,000 (which I have more than that), click Reivew
"The system is unable to provide the miles cost for your trip (7067 - 2654)"
 
I've had similar issues too when redeeming a flight last week.

The points total is computed at the bottom of the "select flights" page. The spinning "roulette wheel" that comes up when calculating points just kept on spinning without ever showing the points required.

I tried another ISP (using my 3G modem instead of home broadband) and it worked.
 
I have not seen this particular error message but I have seen a number of error messages with the Qantas award booking engine that do not make sense at all.

It is not a very stable piece of software and it is about time Qantas did something to fix it.

I've had that before as well. I find you can ignore it and keep going - the correct points total is calculated later anyway.
