We'd appreciate your feedback

Hello

We're always looking at ways to further improve the services we offer and an important part of this is understanding what our members think.

To help us with this, we'd appreciate 5 minutes of your time to provide some feedback on a new product initiative that is being considered with Jetstar.

Australian Online Research, an independent market research company, has been commissioned to help Qantas Frequent Flyer undertake this confidential survey.

Thank you for your participation.

The survey had some interesting questions regarding giving many more benefits to QFF members when flying JQ. I personnally always try to avoid JQ and fly them only when no other options are available. But I was wondering if people here would fly more on JQ if their WP status would give them:
1- priority checkin
2- priority immigration/security
3- option to transfer to a QF flight if JQ flight is delayed by more than 30 min
4- Acces to J domestic lounge on Max fare (useless to WP)

Isn't it a confidential survey?

or is that only the content ;)

I got a similar survey a while ago - and after giving JQ a bollocking - I agreed with some of the suggestions you are implying but from what I remember the suggestions were about paying Max bundles to earn SC's and Points - which would obviously depend on the price.

4- Access to J lounge on Max fare is indeed very useless to those on WP level and where would you expect to use these J lounges when you are flying JQ?

Judging from what I saw of the survey - I don't think that they had any idea of what they wanted to know, and didn't seem to know what they deliver at the moment.

Only useful if QC are actually open for JQ flights. For example ADL and DRW to name but 2.

I received one but in regards to the QFF program and if I think the benefits had improved/not improved

Didn't give any options for possible changes

Main questions were:
Have I tried to book a domestic reward flight lately
Have I tried to book an international reward flight lately
Did I successfully complete my domestic reward points booking
Did I successfully complete my international reward points booking

My main feedback was that J classic award seats are too hard to obtain

My chances of using JQ are remote. But if the QF organization wishes me to use 3K/VF they will allow through checked baggage within the QF organization set of airlines (ie including QF connections)

Happy wandering

+1. Would only fly JQ for Flounge run or *Class

Interesting, I haven't received such a survey, but I'd imagine they'd choose the 4th option as its useless and completely buggers current status pax/Qantas Business customers, and that's unfortunately all I see them as willing to do.

That said, priority checkin/boarding, and possibly more important, not closing lounges when Jetstar is the only option available... That'd help keep the business within the group.

I guess their fear is that if they offer too many benefits to Jetstar, no one will fly Qantas, but their issue is if they don't offer enough, the only viable alternative is Virgin Australia.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I would be more interested in option 3 than the other options, although 1 & 2 don't sound too bad.

One of my main reasons for avoiding Jetstar like the plague is the fear (based on previous experience) of absolutely zilch customer service when their operations go wrong, eg cancelled flights.

I know no airline can avoid problems arising. It's how the problems are dealt with that is the key. Jetstar is cr@p at the latter.
