Hi All. I've just managed to get a couple of return Business class seats SYD to LAX though the recently released AA seats.
At the time of book there was no option to fly from my home city ( Bris ) the only availability was from SYD & due to the limited number of seats available i grabbed them.

The online system is now showing options from Bris to Syd then LAX for the same amount of points as just Syd - Lax. Does anyone know if I'm able to modify my current booking and add the Bris - Syd leg for no additional points?

Thanks in advance
Paul

Welcome to AFF Paulyb3.

Are you able to make changes online? You should be able to make changes to classic award booking and pay a 3,500 QFF point change fee per passenger. I think taxes and surcharges will also be recalculated and you need to make up any shortfall.

If you cannot make changes online and call Qantas to make the change then you could be up for an additional award assistance fee of 6,000 QFF points per passenger.

Thanks for the reply John, was unable to make changes online or was to scared to try to go too far & change much in case i lost the biz class seats.
I spoke to the call centre after an hour 15 on hold and was able to add Gold Coast to SYD return to the itinerary also biz class for no extra points and only a 3500 points(each) change fee + tax. there was no award assistance fee due to the tickets being biz class.

Thanks again
Paul
