QFF $0.004 per point vs Kris $0.007

hey folks, which would you guys choose?
Currently, have a 1point:$1 Visa card linkedto QFF and a 1point:$1 Amex card, is converted to Kris

currently have merchants that when I pay charge 0.4% surcharge for visa, and 0.7% amex

I generally prefer, J/F on singapore airlines, and EK/QANTAS J/F

Which option would you guys prefer and why given that for equivalent long haul flights ,
for example, Krisflyer would be 320,000 points plus $300 in taxes/surcharges
VS
400,000 points plus $1300 in taxes/surcharges on EK
as an example comparioson

Would have thought the comparison is easy.

320,000 x 0.7 = $2240 + $300 = $2540
400,000 x 0.4 = $1600 + $1300 = $2900

ive done those similar maths on back of napkin too, but I was more hoping to get more of avaiaibity options, or lack of, or alternatives,

I have had very little problem getting SQ awards in F so far.I have no status and all my points come from Amex.
However I think it will get much more difficult as they downsize their F cabins.So we probably will just have to slum it in J.

My brother took off yesterday and he always goes in business. I would have to prise Mrscove out of first and she says she would just pay for it......
