QF11 delays [in General]

G'day all,

Does anyone in the know happen to know why QF11 is delayed at least 3 hrs today?

I am on the phone to them now so they can sort out my connecting AA flights but they don't know if its a delayed incoming or a tech issue.

On better news i did win at the upgrade lottery and have now requested (and hoping i get to try) 5A

Wondering the same thing myself. Just got a voice mail from qantas saying flight delayed 3 hours, although that didnt help as I was already on my connecting flight from ADL to SYD. Now to decide what to spend my $30 food voucher on...

Still very windy today, so possibly delayed due to waiting for connections etc.

Apparently the qf11 A380 was damaged by an airbridge (at least what I could hear per the pilot) or was otherwise incapacitated.

Probably because im at home and not in the lounge lol But then if I was in the lounge would be asking for a top up please and relaxing\

Mind you it is interesting that Flightstats has it as being on time

If I was stuck in the F Lounge an extra 3 hours I would be jolly well mad and demand another cup of tea!

That is strange that Flightstats has it being on time ...I also noticed that the departure board was not updated the entire time as to the delay and to indicate the later departure time

The OP says the date was 28 Apr 2011 unless I'm missing something.

Yes, absolutely correct. I didnt notice the older date until after I posted. FYI this 3 hr delay was is in relation to QF11 on 11/8/12.
