Anyone know what happened to this flight? I'm taking it in October and am just monitoring it to see what the loadings are like each week but it's missing completely. Had it been canceled or something?

Probably cancelled, not sure when, or if its related to the A380 going tech at DXB on the weekend.

QF107/QF108 are being operated by 388 for the 14th May.

QF11/QF12 for the 14th don't exist on the Qantas.com timetable.

That makes sense, they are short two 744s at present thanks to one in deep maint and one doing the captains choice Jolly.

I think you will find it stops at LAX and the BNE 744 picks up the rest.

Just realised this has been scheduled for a while and we had another thread on it:

Obviously Tuesdays are not great days for filling the planes. As an aside there are actually two aircraft at AVV, OJE and OJI are having their landing gear swapped, probably indicative of one soon retiring, explains why QF5/6 and QF51/52 are getting the odd days with A330s, much to the annoyance of those booked in PE.

Hopefully they dummy decide to do this in October as well. Have am upgrade request in and I'd prefer the loadings to remain light if possible.

It would just be a planned cancellation - there was a QF7/8 cancelled last week I think. May is a quiet time of year - it probably would never fill so taking out a few flights won't hurt, and it would give some extra time for maintenence.

More Quiet May observations:

I noticed searching Flight Aware on Friday afternoon whilst in QC T2 that there was no QF5 to Singapore, 17/05/13.

Landed back from TMW around 3pm this afternoon and no sign of QF1 to LHR which I thought would be a very strange one to have a cancellation. On checking I see it is delayed until 07:00 on Monday 20/05/13. Obviously an inbound issue as it appears QF2 (05:02), QF12 (06:19) and QF128 (07:16) all arrived on time this morning. And I can only presume the issue was picked up late as QF127 went back to HKG today in the hands of an A380.
