From today, there will be no minimum threshold required before members of Le Club AccorHotels can transfer their Points to Qantas Points at a rate of 1:1.

For details: http://bit.ly/1KULEv2

Awesome! have activated auto transfer of points on my accor account although I have only got sub-400 points in my Accor account at the moment.

Whilst I've got your attention RedRoo, please please pretty please read my private messages from the other day! I know you are a busy person(s), but look forward to your reply.

Excellent. I've never reached the minimum and had been using them up to part pay for bookings but now I will just sweep them across to QFF.

Why is the Qantaspoints web site such a god awful design and so hard to find anything on. How on earth am I supposed to log into my Accor account via Qantaspoints?

As always with QF, the small print trips you up so you can't do a manual transfer except with a min threshold and you can't do auto-transfer without the threshold unless logging in via Qantaspoints which I can't find.

Just allow direct sweep like every other hotel loyalty programme does. Why Qantas, why do you have to be so awkward?

The automatic transfer is registered via the Accor Hotels website. Log in to their website with your Le Club details to set up as necessary.

Also in the email I have received, there's a link that I can use which will give me 50% more QFF points for transfer from Accor by the end of Nov. Not sure if it's a targeted promotion but this would almost earn me a oneworld Y award.

On the Accor side of things, there's currently a promotion where 3x 2 nights stay will earn 10,000 bonus points so it's a good way to boost points without flying or applying for credit cards.

Got an email from Accor announcing the changes... but also free membership for everyone of Qantas epicure for a year.

Didn't get that email myself, or any offer for free epiQure. Don't think they actually ship overseas anyway, and the tax I have to pay would be hideous.

My transferred Accor points landed in my QF account a few days ago.

Yes, mine did too.

I'm thinking of using up e-Rewards points to buy Accor points which will then automatically transfer to QF.

Same, I got an email offering free epicure membership (was Accor Gold at the time), it was sent from the Accor programme directly, not Qantas.

Also got the email offering 50% bonus points if you transfer from Accor to QFF and set up the direct conversion setting - I think this email was from Qantas.

By the way thanks Qantas and Accor LeClub for the partnership, here's a happy QFF & LeClub member!

:?::idea: So could I book a stay via the Qantas website, (earning 3x points) then at reception present my leclub Accor membership and have the rewards sweep into QFF as well?

I used to transfer these, however the hotel vouchers are better value IMHO.
2000 points = 40EUR voucher
I would struggle to get 40EUR worth of value from 2000 QFFP. Perhaps on international J/F redemption.

My experience is that Accor a pretty strict at only giving points for bookings made direct with Accor.

This is good. Also received the emails.

I agree at the moment the 40euro vouchers are better value, though the QFF points are great if you aren't staying in the near future.

I use e-rewards but it is pretty slow going to get enough points so once I hit the next mark I reckon i'll stop.

Does anyone know if the 50% bonus QFF points is targeted or for everyone? I hadn't seen that, but have a stack of Accor Points that I'd love to transfer if there's a 50% bonus.

I've just found the answer to my question. It's available to all:
https://www.qantaspoints.com/earn-points/accorhotels
Earn 50% more points
Reach your destination sooner - set your 'automatic conversion' to Qantas Frequent Flyer now and for all Le Club AccorHotels Points that convert to Qantas Points before 30 November 2015, you'll earn a bonus of 50% more Qantas Points^!
Looks like I'm about to earn a significant amount of points!!

For anyone who has changed to the automatic transfer, what happens to the points that are already in your account? Will they automatically transfer across, more do you have to manually make them transfer? Just trying to work out if I wait for the points there already to go across, or if I have to do it manually.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
