QF Silver or CX Gold Card which oone should I use?

Hi All,
Having been offered and receiving a complimentary Marco Polo Gold (OW Sapphire) I'm confused about which one to use. I'm already a QP member so lounge access is not going to be a prob. Any advice about how you have used your MPC Gold card whilst flying QF? Hope to get some clarity...

It all depends on which FF scheme you want to credit to. CX or QF?

Yes, when booking flights, enter your CX number to select better seats, then remove it and replace it with your QF one ideally before check-in to make sure points are credited to the right account.

If you ever fly to a destination that doesn’t give lounge access to QP members, but is OneWorld, you can just show your CX Gold card to gain access. Just make sure they don’t try to switch the numbers on your booking for you
