QF/OW TBIT Lounges with Domestic Connection

So apparently as of Mid 2014, TSA will allow PAX into any LAX terminal provided they have a valid ticket.

Accordingly with the OW lounge rules, if you have a long layover in LAX and you're QF SG/WP presumably you'd be allowed lounge access in the TBIT lounges with an onward AA/US airways flight?

Is anyone able to confirm this is the case?
 
Been that way since May 1st ... there are a precious few reports both ways on FT of some people being denied access when on AA/US domestic and some being allowed in.

I am thinking those that do get access would tend to keep quiet about it.

It will be more interesting when the airside T4-TBIT connector opens next year - I suspect a specific rule denying such access at TBIT will be added.
