QF LTG Unlock J seats

interested to see if anybody has had successes unlocking J seats on qantas flights - specifically QF94

Plan would be to book my ticket under my fathers LTG status - then i'll top him up with family transfer.

i know WP are exposed to the premium desk unlocking benefits - how much trickle down to gold?

Pretty sure it's a WP perk so pretty unlikely as a gold or LTG.

Can't imagine an LTG would receive that benefit. If you did (and it would be good for you if you did), that would be another notch on the belt of the 'WP is the new Gold' argument.

Concur with the others. LTG of no benefit in releasing a J seat.
Doesn't mean you can't ask of course.
