As expected with the closure of the main employer in town, Qantas are withdrawing services from Gove in August.

Qantas Domestic will withdraw from services from Darwin to Cairns via Gove and vice versa effective from 17th August 2014.
Customers bookings will be progressively updated to reflect the cancellation of these services and be confirmed to an alternate services on Qantas, Jetstar or Air North.
The following options are also available to affected Qantas customers holding a valid ticket issued on/before 17 June 2014 for travel on/after 17th August 2014.
