I remember from back in my RTW days that even though we had a QF issued OWE ticket other OW airlines were able to make changes. This may or may not have come in handy when my mate and I missed a flight and played a bit of "blame the other airline" to see some penalty fees waived!

I've got a OWE fare that I'm trying to change and QF are wanting to charge the change fee plus a telephone fee each time. So, I'm wondering are there any OW airlines that don't charge a fee for making changes over the telephone?

Cheers.

Have you flown the first sector ?
Is it a QF flight you want to change ?
Changes to time / flight number on the same route do not/should not require a re issue fee
QF do however change a service fee for any changes

Yes, several sectors have been flown.

I'm aware that QF charge a a service fee for any changes. My point was that I remember other OW airlines being able to make changes to OWE fares issued by QF. Thus I was wondering which (if any) OW airlines don't charge a telephone service fee.
