Hi
My client has booked a trip for me on an SA ticketed and flight number departing Sydney to SA. The flight is operated on QF metal (partner airline arrangement) but I'm a little confused as to what...if any benefits I receive under the arrangement as a QF Gold

- Is there any lounge access?
- Can I claim the points to my QFF account?

The myriad of terms and conditions has ldft me confused as to if there are any benefits with SA as a partner airline.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

You should get lounge access and points - I've had that happen before on this ticket - but no SC

You access to any qantas operated lounge if you are on a QF flight number. So exAU you should be fine. ExSA - according to the QF website under JNB it says (for QF Gold):

Next onward flight that day must be a Qantas, Jetstar
[SUP]+[/SUP]
flight number or a
one
world operated and marketed flight.
[SUP]#[/SUP]

(and it clearly says it is an associated lounge operated by SAA - so you should be fine)
