Does anyone know what the internal config is on the 744 operating BNE-LAX currently?

I know they were operating a 4 class 744 as a 3 class service with soft upgrades for status FF'ers, is that still the case?

Looking to book to fly to LA in Y+ but trying to decide whether to fly BNE-LAX on the 744 or fly to Sydney and fly the 388.

Anyone with recent experience on this route?

If there is no row four, then new fit out 3 class 744 and no soft upgrades.M

Most BNE/LAX flights seem to of the new configuration these days.

For starters: QF 17 and 18 (SYD/EZE) and then when they stop QF 27 AND 28 (SYD/SCL)

OEI did operate on QF17 last month but this month QF17 has been 4 class.

Good to know will have to watch closely for flight later in week or may not be happy. As suggested on other thread that Serty mentioned above would be really good if EF had a seat map change alert available. Configuration changed early December for all flights from February - ??refurb program delayed?? Flights 12/3, 14/3 & 17/3 still showing new config.

Bit OT but for those for the desperate last minute shoppers the future may be limited:
"In Sky Shopping is available on Qantas international flights (QF1-QF399), excluding return flights between Australia and New Zealand, Auckland and Los Angeles, Brisbane and Los Angeles, Sydney and Buenos Aires, Sydney and Santiago; also not available on any other routes operated by our newly reconfigured Boeing 747-400 aircraft."
