The first part of my trip to South Africa next month is flying from Adelaide on QF 730 in J.The flight leaves at 06h00 ,so my question is,is it better to grab something in the lounge or wait for Breakfast on the flight.Does anyone know what is served on the plane for Breakfast?
Thank You in advance
Ian

Don't know about that specific flight, but QF J brekkies are usually pretty good, and I take them in preference to the lounge.

Even if you do have something in the lounge, you'll have to be strong not to have something on the flight :-) and then there's the guilt thing.

Have only taken this flight about 300 times in the last 5 years, or perhaps 100. Business breakfast should be pretty ok. Usually a hot and cold option. Economy has been getting a hot wrap for the last couple of months. But I usually do breakfast (cake and coffee) in the lounge and take the sleep option

You say you are flying in J. I wouldn't have anything and I would wait till I got to the J lounge at SYD. (if that is your routing)

Yes eric2011, heading to Sydney then QF 63 in J to Johannesburg.Have a couple of hours in Sydney and will definitely be using the lounge.

The on board food will be better than the domestic business lounge in Sydney. 2 hour connection time, I would suggest that you should have something to eat before arriving in the International lounge possible around 9:30am, assuming QF730 is on time. I'm usually up around 4 am for QF730, this might push to as late as 5 am. that means 4 or 5 hours between getting up and arriving in the SYD international J lounge. That's a long time to go without a decent breakfast.
