Does the 4 class non-refurb operate this service regularly?
I don't believe so - Qantas seem to be trying to have a consistent product across the Pacific, so the Skybed MkII craft are generally employed.
Overall this year this it does not seem to have been the case - November may be special ...Thats has not been the case the last couple of months for the 744 services both from SYD and BNE often having non refurb aircraft.
One of every three services this month has had a four class on QF107 while QF15 has been less effected but still seen it 4 times in terms of a four class and twice with OJA.
Bumping an old thread here but it looks like my two daughters will get to try out old F next week on QF107. The seat map has only 14 seats on a 747-400 and they are in 3 E/F. Neither of them have ever been there before so will make for a novelty start to the trip

I am assuming one of the refurbs is being "checked" at the moment.
