I am trying to search for award seats on QATAR and every time I get a message saying "No award seats this month", with the calendar saying "Not available" on each day. I don't believe this is true. It must be an issue with the QATAR site or something I am doing. My searches have been from various locations in AUS and SIN, KUL, BKK to EUR. Has anyone else come across this problem please?

In response to the OP, I was watching LHR -MEL flights. Regularly came up till late Oct 26, and nothing since.

Thanks Jase05. I find that if you select one of those flights to book, the next screen I get the message Award flights not available. I am logged in as a Privilege Club member but have zero points.
This may be a technical issue but I can't find anything out of the ordinary. Maybe it is the Qatar website.

There does seem to be a website bug with the monthly view and the redemption availability tool. I've been able to view availability and book (this was last week) when putting in the exact date required,. But when I asked to check alternative dates I got the monthly calendar with the message of no availability. This repeated with previous month and previous month. But when I modified the search and put in the previous or next date, there were flights available.

Thanks BriarFlyer. Now I know I am not going crazy. I'll contact QATAR.
Good luck with that. Midst-frustration, I tried the same via Online Chat and was told by the consultant that there were no awards available except in February. I was searching for MEL-CMN for November next year. I continued to explore, date by date, and found the availability I was looking for.

I had a very unusual success with BKK-DOH awards on QR in late August next year. None available at time of release on QR,BA and nothing on Seats Aero. I put a request on Seats Aero to be notified if an award became available with a plus or minus 1 day. Lo and behold I got a notification that F awards for the day before had just appeared for BKK-DOH on Velocity. I thought it would be phantom availability but went to Velocity and we now have F awards on QR. 86000 points each plus $481.70. I had a look on QR first and they were not there.

There is something weird going with the Qatar Privilege search when using the 'my dates are flexible' option.
I did a search on American Airlines and came across on F award for SYD-DOH & a J award for DOH-FCO.
When I logged into my QR Privilege account did the flexible search I also got "No award seats this month".
Even searching the particular day from AA showed no premium availability so I assumed it was probably phantom availability.
That was until I did an economy award search for the particular day.
When I did that then suddenly mixed class awards showed for that day with one option being Sydney to Doha in First followed by Doha to Rome in Business for 135K avios which I then successfully booked.
