Qatar in Brisbane

The old EY/VA (ACCC) agreement has since expired, although they have (or are in the process of) restoring the codeshare and FF reciprocation agreement.

Although IIRC, EY still has Carrier 'Surcharges' for booking reward seats.
Absolutely correct on everything.
As far as I am aware it never stops for codeshare and FF agreements. Flew them twice since VA got bought by Bain as an EY Plat and everything was as usual - for miles and status.

They are currently running a promotion - earn double miles if you fly on a virgin ticketed and operated flight.

So I believe they are still quite 'close' partners.

Have been looking at flying QATAR Brisbane to Europe around October/November 2023 in J. Return flights in J are around $8200 which I think is reasonable. The bookings show the flight Bne to Doha is on a 777 - 300ER and a search on Seat Guru of the flight shows it is 6 across in J so is not the fkight does not have Qsuites.

Is any one able to comment if this is correct or are there plans to have flights with Qsuites from Bne?

BNE has always been a QSuite destination. QR have 3 (or could be 4) different 77W configurations, the aircraft used to BNE is the one with two J cabins with QSuite.

BNEFlyer - many thanks for that. Seat Guru must have it wrong. There are 6 differnt configurations in Seat Guru for the 777 and for a few random dates this year it is the 77W six across in 2/2/2.

Just checked Expert Flyer which has confirmed is the 77W with QSuites. Should have done that first!
