OK so the publicity tells us how moving T3 is a benefit to us, wrong flights out of Wagga are now late more often than before because the turn around time at T3 is longer.

We land an the taxi time is 30 minutes because we have to wait for other aircraft to clear T3 and the bus that now is standing only has to also wait for taxing aircraft.

I am sorry Qantaslink but I have not seen a single improvement from the Move to T3 Sydney. Are the benefits to us the passenger or you the company. personally I am not impressed.

Can we go back to T2 now please.

Considering its only been 2 weeks don't you think some bedding down is required??

Although if T3 is overcrowded in terms of movement, no bedding down can fix it. At least now they only need staff in 1 terminal, and close the T2 lounge as well so all those flying on JQ loses lounge access.

Wouldn't both the airport management and QF have considered egress from and ingress to T3 and QantasLink aircraft before finalising the move?

From what I saw at the previous terminal, it generally occurred efficiently.

Passengers and crew being bussed (or walking) occurs in many terminals worldwide and as a potential safety risk must always be assessed.

Wouldn't any delayed departures cost QF a fair bit of money and the hassle for late subsequent arrivals of having to rebook passengers' connecting flights? This may be especially problematic if pax are connecting from say an early morning regional NSw arrival at SYD to one of the international QF flights that depart between 0900 and 1040: HKG, SIN, PVG, LAX and on one day a week MNL are some examples.

I'll certainly be looking at how things change over time with 6 flights through T3 for me in November, hoping I make all flights and don't have to ORC, but expect there will always be a few delays in the beginning. That said, the amount of traffic does sound like it could be an ongoing issue.
