Hi fellow avgeeks,
I have slowly started to create my own youtube channel - Scoobs TV for airlines and travel adventure videos. It's very new (only 13 subscribers!) and with international borders closed had some time to start to learn editing. Hopefully you like. I'm still learning!
This video trip report is a May trip from CBR to SYD return on the legendary Dash 8 Q400. Would really appreciate you guys taking a look, thanks for your support! :)

Keep flying!

Enjoyed the video. I ride the Dash 8 a bit from PQQ. I think you will be able to get the back row 19 each time if you are keen on it :)

Yeah the back row is def the best - thanks @RB for taking the time to view the video

Great picture quality!

You might want to consider narrating your videos? I guess it comes down to personal preference but part of the decision on watching vlogs comes down to the vlogger... their personality (or yours) can make a big difference to return viewers. Narrating the video would bring your personality and establish why your channel should get the views rather than someone else's.

Regarding legroom... unless we know how tall you are, the legroom shot may not be helpful. While you have 10cm of room to spare, would someone 6'2?

For things like seating, people may look at reports to gauge which seat might be better than another... so if comparing Row 1 and 2 for example, try and get a picture of both rows. One of the things I use trip reports for is to work out whether bulkhead flat seats in business class have wider footwells, and whether that's worth the trade-off compared to proximity to the galley or WCs. Trip reports that have tagged this in search results get the views!

Thanks @MEL_Traveller !! I rly appreciate all the advice and tips - I think i will eventually go narrated, just the self confidence thing I think? It is actually more time consuming typing captions and as you said, not much personality comes thru. Also will try to detail things a bit more as you suggested. All great advice. Many thanks! I'm currently making a video on the Ibis BNE Airport for plane spotters and the Spirit of QLD train.
Have a great weekend :)

Interesting. I'm thinking of taking the Dash from SYD to BNE sometime just for something different (via PMQ). Isn't the back row noisy?

I'm jealous of your wine compared to my recent experience on the Dash 8 Q400:

What was the rego of the aircraft?

Hi @brissy! Thanks for checking out my video - no it doesn't seem to be too noisy, well not uncomfortable at least. However, on another recent flight I was in 3A on a dash 8 Q400 to Longreach and that was noticeably quieter for sure.

But I still prefer the back row. I also do wear noise cancelling headphones most of the time when flying :)

Thanks for checking out the video @AIRwin , I forgot to get the rego so can't help there sorry!
And regarding the wine - you got a cool model plane! I'd swap wine for that any day haha😂
