Just got an email from QF inviting me to their annual Travel Show. I'll be there for the whole event and look forward to catching up with other AFF'ers (like in previous years)

You do get the option to invite a colleague (have to insert their email address) and you get a "ticket" to print out (alternatively capture by photo on smartphone and scan at entry)

Good events to catch up with other attendees and maybe win a prize or two.

Got the invite for all cities except Sydney, and Sydney would be the only one I could attend.

I'll be interested to read what you think of the event as I've gone to the Canberra one the past few years and have noticed a drop off in the variety/quality of swag.

Last year's Canberra event didn't have a strong theme either Hoping this year's one is better.

Well there was a group of us that turned up, they must have missed this thread:



At least 3 of us won accom, or lunches/high tea, but the QF flights (or AA, or AY) were missing again this year. Keith (Mr Qantas) commented (and I agreed) that the number of independent or small accom providers were significantly more than in previous years. I spent my time talking with the BNE Hilton Sales/Ops guy and being very selective as to into whose bowls I put my business card.

What was really freaky was the number of winners who were sitting in the presentation zone.

Got to catch up with my Finnair contact, as well as meet the new QF RGM and an AA contact.

Very handy to win a nights accom in MEL...I think my wife will love it
