Hi, I'm looking on the Qantas website "Jetstar Max" fare CNS - BNE on 18/8 JQ935. It indicates nil status credits and nil Qantas points. Is this a Qantas website error, as elsewhere on the Qantas website, it indicates a Jetstar Max fare is considered a Flexible economy fare for the purposes of Qantas points and Qantas status credits.

You may be better off booking direct through the Jetstar website directly. I think you'll find the info more accurate over there, and sometimes even cheaper.

Just checked and it's $299 Starter Fare + $60 Max bundle via Jetstar. Definitely indicates Frequent Flyer points are earned on the Max bundle.

Thanks for the info. A little confusing. Would take a while for Jetstar to manually process the status credit if indeed I was entitled to it and it wasn't automatically credited. Ordinarily I wouldn't pay extra on Jetstar for status credits, except I'm 30 status credits shy of P1. As it's turned out I can get the earlier Qantas flight

Wow! I'd definitely try to get to P1 as soon as you can. I would do the same if I was in your position.

Unfortunately I've done the hard slog to P1, clocking up weekly return flights between Brisbane and Cairns (admittedly these have all been paid domestic J - typically sale fares and a handful of DSC J fares), with only one paid overseas trip in J. If only the A330 came up this way.
